Part-Time Patient Care Coordinator

Zarminali Pediatrics
Sartell, MN Part Time
POSTED ON 8/3/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/30/2026

Zarminali Pediatrics is building the nation's leading pediatric multispecialty group, focused on supporting families to shape healthy futures for their children – from birth through adulthood – by completely transforming the way pediatric care is delivered nationwide. We are tackling today's challenges of increased administrative burden on clinicians and a siloed approach to pediatric care through intentional design of care delivery, enhanced by leading technology and collaborative, expert care teams.

Our name, inspired by our founder's daughter's name – Zarmina – means "something that is more precious to you than gold". We couldn't think of anything that better represents the way parents and caregivers hold the relationship with their children as the most valuable gift, and how we at Zarminali approach care for each child with equal reverence.

We strive for a healthier future for pediatric patients and a happier future for pediatric clinicians nationwide, and we are looking for people to join us in achieving this vision. If you are eager to join a growth stage company and be part of the early team that is shaping the foundation of both the company and the delivery of pediatric care, then this opportunity might be for you!

The Patient Care Coordinator is a key administrative and front-office partner who creates a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for patients and families from the moment they enter our clinics. Serving as the first point of contact, this role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth clinic operations, clear communication, and a positive patient experience.

  • This is a part-time position that will be around 25 hrs/week (can be flexible). We need someone who is available evening weeknights until 8pm.

The Patient Care Coordinator works closely with clinicians and care teams to support scheduling, registration, documentation, and day-to-day clinic flow. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and energized by supporting both people and processes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as the primary front desk point of contact, creating a welcoming and professional experience for patients and families
  • Manage check-in, registration, and scheduling workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Collect, verify, and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR
  • Handle administrative tasks including phone calls, documentation, scheduling requests, and visit preparation
  • Communicate and collaborate with clinicians and clinic staff to support smooth clinic operations
  • Support patient outreach and follow-up related to scheduling and care coordination needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized front-office environment and assist with opening and closing routines
  • Provide cross-coverage support, assist with training, and contribute to process improvements as needed

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or equivalent experience is a plus
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative, front desk, customer service, or patient-facing role
  • Comfort using computer systems and scheduling platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, EMR or similar systems)
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
  • Clear, professional, and empathetic communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Ability to remain calm, flexible, and collaborative in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with children and families is highly valued
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • A collaborative, mission-driven workplace focused on kindness, equity, and service excellence
  • Opportunities to grow within an organization that values internal development and career progression
  • Supportive leadership and strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A role where your organizational skills and people-first approach directly impact patient experience and clinic success
