Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time, on-site role based in Gastonia, Lowell Nc. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to showcase Zapps Wholesale’s product offerings, promotions, and brand story. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, capturing photos and videos of inventory and warehouse operations, writing captions and posts, and optimizing content for various social channels. The Social Media Content Creator will monitor social media performance, respond to comments and messages, and collaborate with sales and operations teams to highlight new arrivals, deals, and customer success stories. This role also involves tracking trends in liquidation, retail, and e-commerce, and recommending new content formats to increase reach and engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in social media content creation, including short-form video, photography, and post design for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Ability to plan and execute social media strategies, including editorial calendars, campaign concepts, and basic analytics review.
- Proficient writing and editing skills for clear, persuasive, and brand-appropriate captions, posts, and basic marketing copy.
- Familiarity with social media tools and software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, scheduling tools, platform-native editing tools). Strong AI skills (ElevenLabs or similiar, Capcut AI, Canva AI, TikTok symphony etc)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Comfort working on-site around inventory and warehouse operations, with the ability to self-direct and coordinate with sales and operations teams.
- Previous experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing; experience in liquidation, wholesale, or retail is a plus.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is beneficial.
