Shipping Clerk

Job Summary

Zapps Wholesale is looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for

labeling packages, boxing orders, and ensuring every shipment is placed in the correct bin for pickup and delivery. The ideal

candidate has prior experience in a shipping department and with inventory processes, takes pride in accuracy, and is

comfortable being cross-trained in a fast environment, supporting other warehouse functions as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

Label packages accurately according to shipping and order specifications.

Box and pack orders securely, ensuring items are protected and shipment-ready.

Verify that each order is placed in the correct bin or staging area for outbound shipment.

Check orders against packing slips and invoices to confirm accuracy before shipping.

Maintain organized, clearly labeled bins and shipping areas.

Assist with inventory counts, restocking, and inventory tracking as needed.

Flag discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing items to the supervisor promptly.

Follow all safety and quality procedures within the shipping and warehouse areas.

Cross-train and assist with other warehouse duties (receiving, picking, stocking, Processing etc.) as business needs

require.

Requirements

Prior experience working in a shipping department is required.

Prior experience with inventory processes (counts, tracking, restocking) is required.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when labeling and verifying orders.

Willingness and flexibility to be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions.

Flexible availability to work varying shifts between 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.

Basic math and reading skills for order verification and labeling.

Comfortable using basic warehouse equipment and tools (scanners, tape guns, pallet jacks, etc.).

Bilingual is a plus !

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during a shift.

Ability to lift and carry packages up to 40 lbs.

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (varying temperatures, noise levels, etc.).

ScheduleFull-Time, Monday–Friday. Shifts vary between 7:00 AM and 7:30 PM based on business needs; a flexible schedule is

required. Pay: $16.00–$18.00/hour to start, based on experience. Paid weekly.
