Duties

• Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction equipment with precision and safety.
• Manage various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials across the site.
• Assist with concrete mixing operations using concrete mixers and support related tasks like pouring and spreading concrete.
• Conduct routine inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance; perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols strictly while working on construction sites; ensure all operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities for accountability and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
• Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety procedures and operational protocols.
• Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating large trucks like dump trucks or tanker trucks.
• Ability to operate specialized machinery including concrete mixers, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tanker units.
• Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
