Position Overview
We’re a growing construction and remodeling company looking for a skilled, reliable Construction & Remodeling Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates well, and enjoys working on a wide variety of residential and light‑commercial projects. You’ll be involved in everything from demo to finish work, helping us deliver high‑quality results for every client.
Key Responsibilities
- General Carpentry — framing, trim work, doors, windows, cabinetry installs
- Remodeling Work — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions
- Demolition — safe removal of existing materials and structures
- Flooring Installation — hardwood, vinyl, tile
- Jobsite Maintenance — cleanup, organization, tool care
- Client Interaction — maintaining professionalism and clear communication
- Team Collaboration — working efficiently with crew members and subcontractors
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling
- Strong understanding of residential building practices
- Ability to read and interpret basic plans or measurements
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Preferred Skills
- Experience with tile work, framing, or finish carpentry
- Knowledge of power tools and jobsite safety
- Ability to work independently when needed
