Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Durham, NC, for an Assistant Store Manager. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, supporting the store manager in achieving sales goals, managing staff, and ensuring high standards of customer service. The role includes responsibilities such as addressing customer inquiries, coordinating team members, implementing retail strategies, monitoring sales performance, and maintaining adherence to retail loss prevention policies. This individual will also contribute to fostering a supportive and professional team environment to ensure the store's success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Customer Service and maintaining high levels of Customer Satisfaction
- Strong Communication skills including the ability to effectively lead a team and engage with customers
- Knowledge and experience in Store Management and achieving sales targets
- Familiarity with Retail Loss Prevention practices and strategies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Problem-solving skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Previous experience in retail or jewelry sales is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business is an advantage
