Responsibilities Of a Great Zalat Restaurant Coach Include
As a Restaurant Coach, you may be offered stock options as authorized by our board of directors. All salary, benefits, bonuses, and stock options will be assessed by the Executive Team on an annual basis and are subject to revision.

Job Specifications
Responsibilities Of a Great Zalat Restaurant Coach Include
- Nurture team development by providing constant and consistent coaching, leadership, and training.
- Recruit future Zealots and oversee other employee management tasks.
- Manage and maintain daily operational tasks on our checklist.
- Process and audit payroll and scheduling.
- Ensure the facility and equipment are maintained to high standards.
- Manage inventory and purchasing to meet PAR levels.
- Optimize store profitability by managing controllable costs and revenues.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development for yourself and your team.
- Monitor customer feedback daily and coach up your Zealots and make other adjustments as needed to ensure exceptional service and satisfaction.

- Earned vacation time of two weeks per year (first year is prorated).
- 2 years of Restaurant Management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Food Safety Certification
- Work a weekly schedule that includes closing, opening, and mid-shifts.
- Approximately 5 days per week, 9 to12 hours per day.
- Weekends, holidays, and late nights are typically the busiest shifts. Zalat Coaches are expected to consistently work these high-volume shifts. We have blackout dates that are required to work evening and late night, Saturday closest to Halloween, Halloween, Super Bowl Sunday and New Year’s Eve.
- Expected hours: 45-50 per week.
- Successful completion of a mandatory background check.
