What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partnerships Manager position at zakHill Group?
zakHill Group, a Santa Monica based entertainment and marketing partnerships agency seeks a Manager to pitch and manage third party promotional relationships for entertainment clients. This position is remote; however, only California residents will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Present select entertainment properties (may include: film, videogames, in-home VOD, streaming series) to variety of consumer brands with the goal of securing partnerships on behalf of clients
- Partnership structures may include sponsorship, licensing or media fees
- Lead all elements of the full sales cycle, including prospecting, ideating, pitching, and negotiating to close
- Create pitch strategies and partnership tie-in ideas to facilitate discussions
- Negotiate deal points for each partnership
- Manage compilation of weekly status reports
- Support client account leader on client communications and strategy documents
- Participate on client management calls/meetings to provide updates and ensure client goals and expectations are met
- Manage client records and notes in database
- Research industry trends and maintain current knowledge of brand campaigns and marketing strategies
- Assist with company initiatives and projects on an ad hoc basis
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years’ experience in either consumer promotions, sponsorship sales or media partnerships
- Working knowledge of entertainment and media promotions
- Existing brand and agency relationships
- Solid knowledge of film, home entertainment, videogames or streaming services
Skills and requirements:
