Role Description
We are seeking an experienced full-time Estimating Manager to join our team on-site at our North Palm Beach, FL location. The Estimating Manager will be responsible for analyzing project plans, preparing cost estimates, managing the bidding process, and collaborating with project stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes. Additionally, the role includes negotiating contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring estimates align with client expectations and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis
- Knowledge of project management principles and construction processes
- Proven ability to prepare detailed takeoffs and evaluate project specifications
- Experience with bid submission, contract negotiation, and vendor management
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Excel, estimating software, or project management tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills to interact with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in commercial flooring or the construction industry is a plus
