Role Description The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at the ZAG Motors location in Everett, WA. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, conducting needs assessments, and guiding shoppers through the process of selecting pre-owned vehicles that match their preferences and budgets. The role involves presenting vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, explaining pricing and financing options, and preparing accurate sales documents. The Sales Consultant will follow up with prospective and existing customers, maintain a professional showroom presence, and collaborate with financing and management teams to ensure a smooth and positive buying experience. This role requires consistent engagement, goal-focused sales activity, and adherence to company policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills to understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle and financing options.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to build trust, maintain relationships, and support repeat and referral business.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and professional presentation.
• Basic knowledge of automotive features, pricing, and financing processes, with a willingness to learn and adapt to dealership systems and tools.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, meet sales targets, and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and respect for diverse customers and team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required in an automotive sales environment.
• Prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with further education in business or related fields considered a plus.
