Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role combines office-based planning with regular site visits to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and is comfortable working with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, field staff, and office personnel.
- Support pre-construction activities such as estimating, scheduling, and project development.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and leadership teams, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
- Utilize project management and estimating software to support planning, tracking, and reporting.
- Oversee resource allocation, cost control, and project documentation.
- Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Assist with hands-on tasks or punch list items when needed to demonstrate leadership and problem-solving.
- Travel as required, with company-covered accommodations and per diem.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and hold them accountable.
- Proven experience with project management software and estimating tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
