CDL Class A Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of trucks, including flatbed and hopper bottom trailers, and will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers to transport goods.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Manage freight documentation and ensure compliance with all shipping regulations.

Experience

• 2 Year minimum experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
• Familiarity with operating hopper bottoms and flatbeds.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transportation.
• Ability to navigate routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with delivery timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
