The Monarch San Antonio, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is a 200-room, 17-story boutique hotel located in the Hemisfair District of downtown San Antonio. It is set to open in early 2026 and is inspired by the Monarch butterfly that migrates through the region each winter. The hotel will feature a full-service spa, a terrace pool, and five food and beverage concepts, including a rooftop restaurant and bar.

Position Overview
The Clef d’Or Concierge serves as an ambassador of the hotel and delivers refined, personalized, and anticipatory guest service. This role requires exceptional local knowledge, polished communication skills, and adherence to the standards of a world-class luxury property. The Concierge ensures seamless, memorable experiences for every guest.
Essential Functions
Guest Services
- Provide warm, professional greetings and maintain an active presence in the lobby.
- Develop bespoke guest itineraries including restaurants, cultural attractions, transportation, entertainment, and wellness experiences.
- Handle guest requests with efficiency, discretion, and genuine care.
- Secure reservations using professional networks and local partnerships.
- Offer expert recommendations and insider access to premium venues and services.
Professional Standards
- Uphold the ethics and service principles of Les Clefs d’Or.
- Maintain a polished appearance and refined communication style.
- Handle all confidential guest information with absolute discretion.
Operational Duties
- Coordinate transportation services (chauffeur, limousine, airport transfers).
- Manage guest deliveries, amenities, luggage assistance, and VIP setups.
- Maintain concierge logs, reports, and databases with accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Guest Experience, Bell Team, Housekeeping, Security, and other departments.
Problem Resolution
- Address guest concerns with diplomacy, tact, and professionalism.
- Provide creative alternatives when services or reservations are limited.
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management, including tasks that support overall guest satisfaction, departmental operations, and the hotel’s standards of excellence.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years in a luxury hotel concierge, guest relations, or front office role.
- Membership in Les Clefs d’Or strongly preferred (or actively pursuing membership).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong local knowledge of restaurants, culture, entertainment, and special events.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Proficiency in hotel systems (PEP, HotSOS).
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Warm, confident, and professional presence.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
