ZACHRY is currently seeking an experienced Janitor for maintenance work at our Freeport LNG (LQF) site in Freeport, TX.
Responsibilities
- Performs all general required tasks as directed by the Foreman and Leads
- Performs all tasks within proper safety guidelines, company guidelines, and as directed by management
- Performs assignments according to company schedule and as expected by the customer
- Performs janitorial tasks based on defined scope of work and customer requests. These are performed to published schedules and within explained guidelines.
- Loading and unloading into buses and company vans.
- Uneven walking surfaces (i.e. gravel parking lots)
- Climbing/Sweeping/ Mopping of stairs
- Working with industrial-strength chemicals
- Bending to empty and re-line trash receptacles
- Lifting and carrying multiple large bags of trash to the dumpster
- Lifting boxes of supplies (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels)
- Sweeping and mopping large areas
- Sweeping with dust mops
- Vacuuming large, carpeted areas
- Lifting mop bucket with water and cleaner inside
- Dusting areas as needed
- Bending to clean toilets
- Bending to get supplies from cabinet under sinks
- Cleaning countertops and tables
- Clean microwaves and coffee bars
- Dusting and cleaning water coolers
- Cleaning windows and glass surfaces
- Cleaning walls and doors.
- Cleaning smoking areas as requested by block managers
- Lifting items 50 lbs. and under
- Moving of chairs and tables
- Pushing/Pulling Janitorial cart
- Exposure to high temperatures and weather
- Cleaning of Laboratory areas (potential exposure to other chemicals)
- Pretty Potty Acidic Bowl Cleaner
- Clorox Clean-up with Bleach
- Bleach
- Lysol Disinfectant Spray
- Pledge Furniture Polish
- Mr. Clean All Purpose Cleaner
- Glass Cleaner with Ammonia
- Lime Away
- Comet
- Conqueror Mopping solution
- Must have steel toe boots with defined heel
- Must have Driver’s License
- Must have TWIC card, no receipts
