Responsibilities
- Experience with heavy civil sitework, grading construction, and soil compaction.
- Review construction drawings and specifications, and ensure the contractor performs grading and compaction operations in conformance with the lines and grades shown on the drawings and according to the specifications.
- Monitor installation of stormwater system in accordance with construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience with installations of erosion control devices.
- Coordinate with contractors and home office engineers on the contractor's request for information.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 4 years of Site Civil Engineering experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification or Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
- Experience with grading and Earthwork site design.
- Experience with Roadway / Paving design & specifications.
- Geotechnical knowledge (soil placement and compaction, sitework prep, roadway / heavy haul paving design).
- Ability to travel and work from the construction site, per diem allowance will be provided.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills (Verbal and Written).
