Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is looking for a detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist II who is who will be working on engineering projects in the Houston Westchase office. The ideal candidate will bring some knowledge of cost and scheduling and will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects for well-known clients in the Oil & Gas industry.
High school diploma with previous experience in engineering with Oil & Gas and Power industry.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project controls.
Experience developing and maintaining engineering schedules.
Problem-solving skills, work to resolve complex situations with appropriate management.
Some knowledge of project management software, specifically Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
Must have an understanding of the basic principles of project management.
Must have a high degree of computer literacy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
Dependable by meeting deadlines, working independently, being accountable for work, maintaining focus, being punctual, and having a good attendance record.
