Job Summary
Zachry Hotels is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide entry- to mid-level technical support as part of the Hotel IT team supporting the Zachry Hotels Division. This position is responsible for providing first-line technical assistance for end-user devices, applications, connectivity, and system issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for technology, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and a desire to learn and grow within the IT field. This role is based at Zachry Hotels’ division headquarters in San Antonio, TX.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new technologies and supporting end users in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Provide end-user technical support both in person and remotely.
- Triage, prioritize, and respond to support requests to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Develop a working technical understanding of Zachry Hotels systems, products, and services.
- Identify and communicate recurring issues and assist in their resolution.
- Own support requests through their lifecycle with accurate documentation, proactive communication, and strong customer service.
- Manage and troubleshoot vendor services and relationships following vendor standard operating procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of support activities, including communications, troubleshooting steps, and time tracking.
- Support imaging, deployment, and reconditioning of end-user equipment, as well as inventory management throughout the hardware lifecycle.
- Install, uninstall, and transport equipment as needed; provide guidance for remote installations.
- May require lifting or moving IT equipment.
- Track and manage Zachry Hotels IT inventory assets and software licenses.
- Utilize approved tools for device management, monitoring, and utilization reporting.
- Travel locally within San Antonio (5–10%) to support multiple hotel locations.
- Adhere to Zachry Hotels IT processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through training and mentorship.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: One year of related IT support experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in developing technical skills and pursuing certifications.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
