Essential Duties of the Telecommunications Project Manager:
- Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
- Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
- Preparing a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
- Meeting with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
- Coordinating the acquisition of all materials, monitoring tools and equipment requirements with the project team and the warehouse.
- Overall financial management of the project (s) including cash flow and manpower needs.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
- Experience with creating project schedules with tools similar to Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
- Experience in project estimation (like estimating change orders) or completing new job takeoffs.
- Require understanding/knowledge of Structured Cabling projects like CAT 5, CAT6 along with OSP & ISP cabling..
- $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
