Responsibilities for the NOC Lead include:
- Monitor system, network, and application performance while ensuring continuous operational availability
- Lead incident response efforts, manage escalations, and coordinate service restoration across teams
- Supervise and mentor NOC staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and effective shift operations
- Oversee change management, maintenance activities, and vendor coordination
- Drive process improvements, reporting, and compliance with SLA and operational standards
- 5–10 years of experience in IT operations, network operations, or systems administration, with 2–5 years in a leadership role
- Experience with enterprise technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing/switching, firewalls, Cisco (IOS-XE, NX-OS), and Arista (EOS)
- Strong experience with incident management, root cause analysis, SLA-driven environments, and 24/7 operations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in IT, Networking, or related field
- Active Top Secret clearance (within the last 5 years) or DOE Q clearance
