Responsibilities for the Network Storage Engineer include:
- Design, implement, and maintain SAN/NAS storage environments, including NetApp and EMC solutions
- Perform capacity planning, performance analysis, and workload forecasting for enterprise systems
- Configure and support HA/DR solutions, including data replication, SnapMirror, and backup strategies
- Integrate storage with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and enterprise applications (SQL, Exchange, DFS)
- Execute upgrades, firmware updates, security configurations, and storage lifecycle management
- 10 years of experience with storage engineering, capacity planning, and performance management
- Strong experience with NetApp technologies (ONTAP 8.x/9.x, SnapCenter, SnapMirror, ONTAP CLI, System Manager)
- Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS technologies including iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, LUNs, FlexVols, and fiber channel
- Active Secret Clearance
- SecurityX Certification Required
- Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
