Responsibilities for the Network Administrator include:
- Provide network technical guidance during deployment planning and rapidly troubleshoot networking issues during operational execution.
- Install, configure, maintain, and support routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS solutions, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, and related network infrastructure.
- Support deployed users by providing hands-on computer and network administration assistance in dynamic operational environments.
- Assist with Information Assurance (IA) training initiatives and support compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- Coordinate deployment logistics including hardware/software transportation, documentation, equipment accountability, foreign clearance requirements, and post-deployment reporting.
- 4 years of professional experience providing network administration and deployed technical support.
- Experience supporting enterprise networking technologies including routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
- Strong troubleshooting, deployment coordination, and systems administration skills in operational environments.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- CompTIA Security CE (or equivalent IAT Level II certification) required.
- OEM network certification required, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Microsoft or Cisco technical certifications preferred.
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
