Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer include:
- Develop cloud-native applications and migrate existing on-premises applications into cloud environments.
- Analyze applications and recommend cloud migration, optimization, deployment, and modernization strategies.
- Implement cloud automation, DevSecOps processes, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and containerized deployments.
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while supporting cost optimization and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Debug cloud services, manage cloud infrastructure, and support enterprise cloud operations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud architecture and cloud service delivery models including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
- Strong experience implementing DevSecOps practices, cloud automation, and GitLab-based development workflows.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies and automated cloud resource provisioning.
- Experience with containerization, container orchestration, and cloud security best practices.
- Ability to analyze applications and develop migration, deployment, cost optimization, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Experience managing cloud policies, governance frameworks, and highly available cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 *depending on experience*
