About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities with ease. This position supports our Purchasing Department with order tracking, data entry, and coordination across departments to ensure materials and supplies are ordered, received, and documented accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Track open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
- Review acknowledgements and confirm order accuracy
- Perform regular cycle counting and assist with inventory accuracy
- Enter and maintain data in Excel and ROSS
- Support sustainability reporting and documentation
- Organize and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), TiHi, and case information
- Document and manage product samples
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to ensure purchasing needs are met
- Other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills (data entry, formulas, and organization)
- Data entry experience with attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with MRP or similar planning software (preferred)
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
