This is not a typical gig role—you’ll follow a dedicated route each day, allowing you to build trust with the students and families you serve.
What to Expect
- Routes typically last 0-40 minutes
- Per-route pay structure, with additional compensation for trips exceeding 16 miles
- At least 2 routes per day guaranteed, with the chance to take on more
- Weekday-only schedule (morning and afternoon routes, no evenings or weekends)

What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, timely transportation for students to and from school
- Create a positive and reassuring experience during each ride
- Offer assistance to students when needed to ensure comfort and safety
- Commit to your assigned routes and maintain reliable attendance
- Use a user-friendly mobile app to manage trips and stay connected with support staff and families
What You’ll Need
- Must be at least 21 years old
- A valid California driver’s license and a strong driving record
- A well-maintained 4-door vehicle (model year 2011 or newer)
You must also be able to complete:
- Background check
- Drug screening
- DOT medical exam
- Live Scan fingerprinting
- TB test
- Vehicle inspection
- Proctored English Proficiency Assessment
