We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Data Analyst with a deep understanding of the fashion and apparel industry and mastery of data science methodologies. This role will leverage data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and drive e-commerce performance.

Work Type                         Hybrid Position -  Partial In Office 3-4 Days / Partial Remote 1-2 days

POSITION DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Develop and maintain analytical reports to guide e-commerce strategies.

• Automate and streamline data workflows for efficiency and scalability.

• Analyze data to uncover insights in customer retention, segmentation, and product return rates.

• Reconcile and distribute weekly/monthly reports across departments.

• Manage end-to-end analysis: data extraction, cleaning, modeling, and interpretation.

• Build and maintain intuitive dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to align business objectives with data insights.

• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and fashion e-commerce.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

Experience: 5–10 years as a Data Analyst with proven e-commerce expertise (fashion/apparel industry experience preferred).

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Excel.
• Strong Python skills for statistical programming and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• AWS and Athena experience.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker (Data Studio), AI, and other BI tools.
• Experience with Shopify and Full Circle (preferred).
• Knowledge of data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL processes (Airflow, dbt) (preferred).

Analytical & Business Skills:

• Expertise in Digital Marketing Analytics: understanding of paid media, email, SEO, and web traffic data to link marketing performance to e-commerce KPIs.
• KPI Development: ability to define and measure key metrics such as CAC, CLV, AOV, ROAS, and conversion rates.
• Customer Journey Analytics: experience analyzing funnels, conversion rates, and lifecycle value.
• Forecasting & Predictive Modeling: exposure to regression, time-series, and predictive analytics.
• Data Science Methodologies: skilled in data collection (including e-commerce APIs), cleaning, standardization, statistical analysis, and data mining for actionable insights.

Communication & Leadership:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to translate complex data for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Mindset: self-starter, curious, detail-oriented, and strong problem solver.

Additional preferred strengths include advanced AI & machine learning interpretation for strategic insights and cross-departmental reporting (Finance, Operations, Logistics, Wholesale, Buying, and Planning). Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT 

This position is currently operating as 3-4 days in office / partial remote position.  Work is conducted in an air-conditioned office environment or at home office.   Frequent use of hands, eyes, speech utilizing computer and work-related equipment. Frequent sitting, occasional standing / dexterity.   
 

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Continually required to sit, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk & hear
• Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions 
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 20-25 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision; Distance vision; Color vision; Peripheral vision; Depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: computer, laptop, printer, copy machine

POSITION SALARY RANGE

$95,000 - $135,000  Annually

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Z SUPPLY provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, internal parity and other relevant factors.   Flexibility outside of the salary range listed may be considered based on additional skills or qualifications a candidate may possess that may justify additional compensation.  Company paid health benefits, PTO, bonus and other various company perks are not included in the salary range listed above and are considered additional compensation.
