Commercial Construction Superintendent

Chicago / Northern Suburbs
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 Bonus Full Benefits

Growing commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee interior renovation, tenant improvement, and select ground-up projects throughout Chicago and the northern suburbs.

Projects include restaurant, retail, nonprofit, educational, hospitality, medical, and institutional work. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past several years and offers long-term stability, repeat client relationships, and a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations from start through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, safety, and quality control
• Maintain strong communication with clients, project managers, and field teams
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Lead projects with professionalism, attention to detail, and a client-focused approach

Requirements

• Experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor
• Background in interiors, tenant improvements, renovations, or ground-up construction
• Strong communication and client interaction skills
• Procore experience preferred or willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project schedules
• Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and strong leadership presence
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110K–$120K
• Discretionary annual bonus

Local candidates preferred. Most projects are in the Chicago area with limited optional travel opportunities.
