Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role located in Fort Mitchell, KY. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on multi-family residential buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks as qualified. Daily responsibilities include responding to service requests, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to protect building systems and equipment. The role also involves performing unit turns, inspecting common areas, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with property management to prioritize work orders. The Maintenance Technician will ensure that all work is completed in a timely, professional manner and that resident concerns are addressed respectfully and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills for residential building systems and fixtures.
- Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance tasks to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
- Effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and identify appropriate solutions.
- Experience in multi-family or residential property maintenance is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the property.
- Ability to lift moderate weights, work on ladders, and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
