Job description- Shipping Administrator

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 hourly for 40 hours per week/ PAID WEEKLY
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Proficient with business equipment and computer applications such as MS Excel; MS Windows; MS Word; database software; MS Outlook, experience scheduling shipments with various carriers an asset.
Work Setting Office: Retail/Wholesale establishment/distribution center.
Area of Specialization: Shipping: Entering a high volume of shipments in multiple portals, basic math skills to compare and determine best rates for shipments; Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents. Label boxes and skids processing 500 shipments per day. Send and receive messages by email. Attention to detail in all aspects of customer service (written and oral communication).
Specific Skills: Provide our customers with accurate, valid, and complete information by using the proper methods/ tools given to them. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Comfortable working and preparing customs documentation. Confident working in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work both in an office and label and move boxes in a warehouse. Candidate must be able to organize themselves accordingly and respond to customer and other staff inquiries with ease and efficiency. Adapt and respond to different types of customer personalities to ensure that every customer has a positive experience. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and alternatives within job scope by seeking out assistance when needed and following office policies and procedures.
