Duties
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to accurately conduct utility installation from the layout process all the way through testing.
- Install pipelines using pipe lasers and other precision tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks around pipeline installations and assist with concrete forming when needed.
- Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation begins, preventing damage or accidents.
- Assist in general labor tasks when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience installing underground utility systems such as water, sanitary, and storm sewer.
- Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for pipeline layouts, GPS experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and utility locating techniques.
- Familiarity with pipe laser technology for precise alignment during installation.
- Construction site experience working on pipeline or utility projects is highly preferred.
