Interior Designer – Full Time (Hybrid)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (projects across Greater Atlanta area)
Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid (remote on-site client meetings/project visits/team meetings; in-office requirement anticipated)

Z & Co Design Group is a full-service interior design firm in its 14th year of business. We specialize in high-end residential projects, including full home furnishing, remodels, renovations, new builds, and second homes. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a seasoned Interior Designer to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview -
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interior Designer with strong design, project management, and client-facing skills. This role requires the ability to manage full-service design and renovation projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, makes confident design decisions, and brings creativity, professionalism, and organization to every project.
Key Responsibilities -
• Lead full-service interior design and renovation/remodel projects, from initial concept to installation.
• Conduct on-site visits, client consultations, and presentations.
• Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings (SketchUp required).
• Space plan and specify finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and materials.
• Manage client relationships with exceptional communication and customer service.
• Coordinate with contractors, trades, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Source products and manage trade accounts to meet project goals and budgets.
• Prepare and present design concepts, mood boards, and project proposals.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with the design team and contribute to company growth initiatives.
Qualifications -
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in residential interior design.
• Proven experience managing client-facing, full-service design projects (including renovations/remodels).
• Strong rendering skills in SketchUp; ability to produce floor plans and elevations.
• Knowledge of construction and renovation processes.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong sales ability with confidence in presenting and closing design proposals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
• Team-oriented, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to travel locally (reliable transportation required).
• Portfolio required (must include professional work, not only school projects).
