Salary: $16/hour
Position Description:

These teams ensure that YWCA Team Members and YWCA Programs are empowered to achieve the YWCA Mission through positive experience of our facilities/community centers, support from our Human Resources team, and effective end user experience of our IT and Technology systems.
The Facilities Cleaning Specialist will play a vital role in optimizing the day-to-day operations of the YWCA Tulsa by ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities. They will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and upkeep of our Patti Johnson Wilson and East Community Centers.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Facilities Cleanliness
· General Dusting in all common areas daily.
· Mirrors throughout the facility are cleaned daily.
· Cleaning water fountains daily, ensuring they are sanitized and polished.
· Daily sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of all floors.
· Remove trash and change liners if needed, wiping off trash cans as needed.
· Clean all interior glass surfaces at a minimum of once per week, if needed. These include the windows around the pool at PJW and the entryway.
· Wipe and polish countertops, desks, fitness equipment and other items in common areas daily.
· Lockers and Restrooms- Clean and sanitize all fixtures including toilets, urinals, sinks in all restrooms and lockers rooms. Clean and polish stainless steel dispensers, glass mirrors, fill dispensers, clean showers, vacuum, sweep, mop and sanitize all floor areas. Spot clean walls and partitions, especially around sinks, trashcans and toilets.
· Sweep and mop stairwells daily.
Facilities Operations
· Restocking paper towels, toilet paper and supplies when needed.
· Adhering to requests from members for spot cleaning and refilling of supplies as needed.
· Ensures that inventory for supplies is up to date and communicates with supervisor immediately if something is needed.
Data and Administration
· Utilizes a daily checklist to ensure that all tasks are completed.
· Participates in weekly meetings with supervisor to be informed of any changes, issues or concerns.
Schedule:
We are hiring 2 part time positions, each with a different schedule.
Specialist 1: Sunday through Thursday, primarily working evenings (6-9pm) except for day time on Sundays and Mondays
Specialist 2: Tuesday through Saturday, primarily working evenings (5-9pm) except Saturdays 2-6pm.
Qualifications:Required Skills/Abilities:
· Flexibility – schedule may change or shift depending on facility or organizational needs
· Excellent time management – this position works independently most of the time
Education and Experience:
· 1-2 years experience in facility cleaning, preferably fitness centers or office buildings
Physical Requirements:
· Standing, bending, reaching while cleaning facilities
· Lifting up to 50 lbs when needed

YWCA staff are expected to utilize a variety of communication tools, including but not limited to email, TEAMS messages, telephone and in person conversation. It is expected that communication is responded to within no more than 48 hours. YWCA staff will communicate timely and respectfully with staff, stakeholders and clients.
