Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Youth Worker located in Rock Island, IL. The Youth Worker will be responsible for engaging with and supporting local youth, developing and implementing youth programs, and providing mentoring and guidance. Daily tasks include facilitating activities, organizing events, and offering social and emotional support to youth. The Youth Worker will collaborate with colleagues, families, and community partners to promote the well-being and development of young individuals.
Qualifications
. HS graduate or GED needed
21 years of age
Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, overnight and weekends
- Youth Work, Youth Services, and Youth Mentoring skills
- Experience in Social Work and providing social support
- Strong Communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Relevant educational background or certifications in youth services or social work are a plus
