We are seeking a full-time organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support our daily operations by managing administrative tasks, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to help us achieve our mission. Responsibilities include:
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer support
- Handle phone etiquette with professionalism while supporting internal teams and external partners
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Assist with office management duties including supply inventory, organization, and clerical support
- Support bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software when needed
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, business or related field preferred. Two years clerical experience required. Must have a valid Ohio’s Driver’s license and dependable transportation.
- Proven office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace is required
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and proofreading abilities
- Experience with phone systems and front desk operations
- Knowledge of clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and calendar management
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse community needs
- Familiarity with office equipment including photocopiers, fax machines, and scanners
