In this role, you will provide direct supervision of daily activities of the Home Visiting team including administrative and service delivery.
Position Overview
The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision of the Home Visiting team including case reviews, case planning, case management, and opportunities that have significant benefits for the programs and to the YWCA of Hawaii Island. The Clinical Supervisor directly supervises up to 6 employees in the Healthy Families Home Visiting program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Director in the process of hiring, developing, and evaluating performance of personnel within the department.
- Accurately provide timely reports or revisions of service documentation using tools and procedures implemented in the program.
- Evaluate operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the operating effectiveness of the program and the organization.
- Oversee the implementation of adopted plans and policies pertaining to program level based upon the goals and objectives of the programs and the YWCA.
- Ensure compliance of agency with all laws and requirements, including funder requirements, under which the YWCA Healthy Families Hom Visiting program operate.
- Ensure quality of operations in support of the YWCA Healthy Families Home Visiting programs including program staff.
- Ensure responsibility, authority, and accountability of all program staff.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and manage financial performance to those budgets.
- Collect and maintain accurate and relevant records pertaining to YWCA Healthy Families Home Visiting program, both hard copy and electronic. Oversee that staff maintain accurate records and provide timely statistical and activity reports on program activities.
- Compile and generate reports and statistics for the funding agencies of the YWCA Healthy Families Home Visiting program as determined by the contract. Assist in providing reports to partner agencies, the Board of Directors, and YWCA of Hawaii Island Executive Team, as needed.
- Provides written feedback to staff and contract regarding work product and performance. Help to establish corrective actions when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Masters degree (M.A.) in Social Work, Human Development, or other related human services field.
- Three years experience in a clinical setting and two years in human services program management preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.

- Must pass FBI fingerprinting, background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must have a clean driving abstract with current vehicle insurance and registration.
- Valid drivers license.
- First Aid and CPR are desirable.
- TB Clearance is desirable.
