Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm


Position Summary:

This position provides trauma-informed, evidence-based clinical care and program coordination services to individuals and families impacted by complex trauma. The role supports access to care, continuity of services, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes in alignment with YWCA values, CARF accreditation standards, and applicable state and funding requirements.


Purpose:

To deliver trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic care to individuals, families, and significant others impacted by complex trauma, including experiences in interpersonal violence, exploitation, abuse, and addiction, in support of safety, stabilization, healing, and long-term recovery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic care, including crisis intervention, and individual, family and group modalities, to all individuals.
  • Conduct client intake, orientation, and admission-related processes in accordance with program requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Obtain and manage informed consent and releases of information to support coordinated care with referral sources and partner systems.
  • Collaborate with advocates, case managers, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure integrated, consistent, and comprehensive services across the continuum of care.

Documentation, Compliance, and Quality Improvement:

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical and program documentation in compliance with CARF standards, state regulations, and funding requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain outcome, census, and utilization data to support billing, reporting, quality improvement, and grant compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment, evaluation, and improvement of services to address emerging clinical and community needs.

Professional Standards and Development:

  • Maintain required licensure, credentials and continuing education in accordance with professional standards, CARF requirements, and organizational expectations.
  • Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and trauma-informed principles in all professional interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program operations and organizational goals. 


Requirements

Education:

  • Completed Master's Degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required.
  • Licensure in mental health counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or related field, or working towards licensure.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications- to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Crisis Intervention Training.

Qualifications and Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge of domestic violence and sexual assault dynamics and their impact on individuals, families, and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive services to all populations.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and complex clinical environments.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Commitment to documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical and program records.
  • Valid driver's license, personal automobile insurance, and flexibility to adjust work hours as program needs require.

Preferred Experience:

  • Three to five years of clinical experience in behavioral health, trauma services, or human services.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary or accredited service environments.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift/carry up to 30 pounds, as needed.
  • Full range of motion, including manual dexterity, finger coordination, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal functional range.
  • Ability to sit at a computer work station for extended periods of time and stand when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Work is primarily performed in a non-smoking office environment; occasional travel may expose employee to outdoor weather conditions.
