Summary
Be a part of a new standard of well-being and provide fitness instruction for YWCA members and staff. Promote the physical, social/emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being within our community. Teach group fitness classes, including aerobic and conditioning formats.
a0Responsibilities
1. Teach high-quality fitness classes with a positive, enthusiastic, and supportive exercise environment.
2. Lead group classes with proper techniques, basic anatomy, and proper exercise form.
3. Observe participants as they exercise to assure proper form, and make corrections as necessary.
4. Instruct and demonstrate fitness classes, engaging students and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants of all skill levels.
5. Provide excellent customer service and build rapport.
6. Provide class description and class music to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages students to explore their practice.
7. Effectively manage time to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Take attendance and record accurate records.
0Qualifications
· Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred
· Valid State License
· ACE and/or NETA preferred
· CPR Certification preferred
