Now Hiring: Summer School Age Camp Program Staff
Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Status: Temporary (Summer Position – Ends August 2026)
Location: YWCA Downtown and South Minneapolis, and Midtown
What You’ll Do
The Summer School Age Camp Program Staff plans, leads, and implements recreational and creative experiences for school-age children in a group setting. You will provide hands-on activities that promote healthy attitudes and lifestyles through safe, respectful, fun, and diverse learning experiences.
- Assist with writing and implementing weekly lesson plans.
- Organize and lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, enrichment projects, and team-building experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe program environment while supporting accurate recordkeeping (attendance, incident reports, evaluations, CACFP compliance if applicable).

Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum age of 18.
- Certifications required within 30 days of hire: Adult and Child CPR (or CPR/PR), First Aid, and AED.
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication, organization, and human relations skills.
- Willingness to work with diverse populations.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with school-age children.
- Knowledge of CACFP program requirements.
