As a Host/Host at Yuno Sushi, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role is crucial in ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued while managing reservations and seating arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu and restaurant services.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area to enhance guest experience.
- Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
