We are looking for someone to join Team Yuma as a CTE Volunteer Student with the Yuma Fire Department.
Summary
Under direct supervision, performs general work of a routine nature in a vocational or technical work environment, designed to provide practical work experience for the participant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: --Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. - Assists with routine technical work in the areas of fire operations, equipment maintenance, television and communications operations, inventory control, or basic inspection work.
- Assists with the data input and electronic file maintenance.
- Runs errands, cleans and maintains working area.
- Supports the relationship between the City of Yuma and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with citizens, visitors, and City staff; promotes the City goals and priorities, vision, values, and the "Yuma Way", and complies with all City policies and procedures.
- Maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues and City information; performs other duties as required or assigned.

- Be actively enrolled in a high school CTE program.
