Essential Functions
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create and maintain data catalogs to standardize and document data sources, attributes, and lineage.
- Develop and manage data dictionaries to ensure consistent definitions and proper usage of data elements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Design and build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure data quality by performing data cleaning, validation, and standardization.
- Contribute to the improvement of data governance practices and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Provide recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic planning and operational efficiencies.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in DAX queries.
- Experience with data cataloging tools (e.g., Purview, Alation, Collibra) and maintaining data dictionaries.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
- Advanced Excel skills and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with Deltek CostPoint, Workday, Spectrum Viewpoint, Salesforce, etc.
- Familiarity with APIs, Rest APIs, and their functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, including creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Demonstrated experience in working with large data sets and advanced analytics techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance
