Position: Brewer
Department: Brewing – Mill Creek
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We are family owned and operated since 1829 and have a strong culture and history of perseverance and grit. We are seeking a strong champion of our company and our brands. We are looking for a Brewer to join the team at America’s Oldest Brewery. Based in Pottsville, PA, this person will primarily be responsible for:
- Brewing, Fermenting, Aging, and Filtration of Beer
- Assisting with QA Checks
- In place cleaning and sanitizing hoses, vessels, and equipment
- Working independently without supervision to accomplish shift work
- Communicating with all Operations Department Personnel
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed based on production schedule
- Must perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisor
Requirements
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to use a fork lift to unload trucks of brewing materials
- Ability to work at elevated heights: top of fermenters, rail cars, silos
- Ability to unload railcars of bulk brewing materials
Required Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent statement can be added for education level
- Proficiency with computer skills and data entry
- Experience in manufacturing environment is not necessary but preferred
- Experience with hands on work and mechanical aptitude is preferred
