Position OverviewWe are seeking a Salesforce Solutions Architect to support a federal client. This senior-level role is responsible for designing scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring compliance with federal requirements, and guiding technical teams through successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce architecture, integrations, and security, along with proven experience supporting enterprise or public-sector clients.
Responsibilities- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define solution architecture and system design.
- Translate functional and security requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and oversee data models, integrations, and workflows to ensure seamless system performance.
- Provide technical leadership to Salesforce administrators, developers, and integration teams.
- Ensure solutions comply with federal standards (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST) and client-specific security policies.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Oversee system configuration, data migrations, and integration with third-party applications.
- Support UAT, deployment, and adoption efforts through hands-on collaboration with client teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, recommending best practices and future-state architecture strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- U.S. Citizenship (required).
- Ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation (required).
- At least one Salesforce certification (required) OR willingness to obtain prior to start date (self-funded).
- 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce architecture, design, or solution delivery.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level Salesforce implementations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Shield).
- Experience with security models, role-based access, and compliance in federal or regulated environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.
- Federal or public-sector client support experience strongly preferred.
- Employment Type: W2 only (no C2C).
- Compensation: Hourly or salary based on experience.
