Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Preschool Teacher Aide to join our early childhood education team - four our TWO-Year-Old class. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences that promote curiosity and a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support each child's growth.
- Assess and document children's progress through observations and assessments.
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity.
Requirements
- (12) Units in Early Childhood Education REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid will be provided

- HOURS: MON-FRI, 8:30 am - 1:30pm
Minimum Requirements:
- MUST HAVE: 12 Units Early Childhood Education
- Positive Christian Values
- High School Diploma
- Experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to clear State Licensing Background (Live Scan Fingerprints)
Salary: $ 18.00 an Hour
