Youth & Shelter Services (YSS) is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and driven Transitional Services Advocate to support youth and young adults in our Rapid Rehousing program. This role is critical in helping individuals and families transition from homelessness to stable, independent living through trauma-informed care, advocacy, and skill-building.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Transitional Services Advocate provides direct support and case management to participants in the Rapid Rehousing program. This includes housing stabilization, resource coordination, and individualized support planning to promote long-term independence.
This role works collaboratively with internal teams and community partners to ensure participants have access to safe housing, essential services, and ongoing support, while aligning with YSS policies, trauma-informed practices, and program expectations.

Qualifications:REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

Experience working with youth, young adults, or individuals experiencing homelessness strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Knowledge of community resources and housing systems preferred

Valid driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed
