YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to support the program at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role requires an onsite professional with strong technical expertise to provide second-tier support for a variety of IT systems, applications, and hardware.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study, such as Business, Finance, Computer Science, etc.
· The Contractor shall assist with seeing, understanding and leveraging data in their platforms, systems, and applications in an integrated and consistent manner.
· The Contractor shall ingest, process, secure, store, distribute, analyze, and optimize OAA data, according to Army Data Services Requirements, the Army Data Plan, and industry standards. Additionally, the Contractor shall display OAA data graphically to improve reporting capabilities.
· The Contractor utilize the SDLC and rapid development methodologies to provide data analytics and visualization support by drawing useful insights from both structured and unstructured data sources and representing those insights in the form of tables, graphs, lists, maps, and other views for display in digital dashboards.
· The Contractor shall cleanse and store data in standard formats for future analytical needs.
· The Contractor shall deliver Tableau and/or Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards as requested to support communication of program performance, statistics, historical trends, and program standards to key stakeholders for situational awareness, analysis, and executive decision making.
· The Contractor shall provide an analytics reassessment for the sustainable, repeatable dashboard update process with a focus on data integrity and consistency performance.
· The Contractor shall provide professional services to develop a performance management framework, including metrics development, performance governance support, and other aspects of performance management.
· This reassessment shall include an evaluation of how and what resources are being used, an inventory of data reports, extracts, and elements from long established systems of records.
· The Contractor shall measure and quantify OAA’s performance improvements as derived from an analysis of dashboard data and stakeholder interviews.
· The Contractor shall compare OAA performance captured with Army service standards or generally accepted business standards relative to each OAA functional area.
· The Contractor shall incorporate reassessment results into an improved viable and sustainable data architecture solution that supports standardization, integration, and BI.
· The Contractor shall compare/contrast the current platform and technologies used with other available solutions.
· The Contractor recommended data architecture solutions shall meet both OAA’s current business and operational demands with a flexible design that accommodates the organization’s continually evolving future environment and technological modernization.
· The result of this task shall be a Performance Management and Data Strategy Plan in electronic (Microsoft 365 or Adobe PDF) format with a verbal presentation.
· The Performance Management and Data Strategy Plan and verbal presentation are due NLT two hundred seventy (270) calendar days after the contract CLIN has been activated. Upon Government review and approval of the plan, the Contractor shall develop a schedule for executing the plan and shall commence activities thereof.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
