Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children. We are specifically looking for a lead preschool teacher to educate our 3, 4, and 5 year olds and prepare them for Kindergarten.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Provide basic care such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with personal hygiene
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management techniques when necessary
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the childcare facility
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education &/ or Preschool CDA Certification Preferred
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or caregiving preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Ability to provide first aid in case of emergencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
