The Private Duty Home Health Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling caregivers, maintaining staffing levels, supporting field staff, and ensuring clients receive consistent and timely care. This role is fast-paced and people-focused, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain caregiver schedules to meet client needs
- Communicate with clients, caregivers, and supervisors to resolve scheduling conflicts
- Track employee availability, time off requests, and shift changes
- Assist with onboarding and HR administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate records within scheduling software
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (bi-weekly)
- Build strong relationships with caregivers and clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous Staffing Coordinator experience in Home Care required
- Licensed CNA
- Previous experience in home health, healthcare staffing, or scheduling required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Computer proficiency (scheduling software experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
