Responsibilities

- Teach fundamental soccer techniques, rules, and sportsmanship principles to young participants
- Monitor and manage group behavior to create a respectful, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely by adhering to facility guidelines and safety protocols
- Provide constructive feedback to help players improve their skills and confidence
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and program coordinators to communicate progress and address concerns
- Assist in organizing tournaments, games, or special events that promote active participation and community spirit
Skills
- Previous experience in sports coaching or youth activity leadership with a focus on soccer preferred
- Strong background in teaching physical education or sports-related disciplines such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or martial arts like karate or judo
- Experience working with children or adolescents in childcare or educational settings
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to motivate and guide young learners effectively
- Familiarity with safety standards related to sports activities, including Lifeguard experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills and foster a positive team environment
- Passion for promoting health, fitness, and active lifestyles among youth through engaging coaching methods
