Location: Remote (United States)

Schedule: Initial Commitment of 3–10 Hours per Week
Expected Transition: Full-Time Executive Position
Expected Full-Time Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually, based on experience, organizational growth, and funding.

Overview

RISE Foundation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Vice President of Clinical Services to provide strategic leadership for the organization's clinical initiatives and behavioral health programs.

This executive leader will oversee the development, implementation, and quality of clinical services while ensuring programs are evidence-based, trauma-informed, and aligned with best practices. During the startup phase, this role requires approximately 3–10 hours per week and is expected to transition into a full-time executive leadership position as the organization expands.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working collaboratively with executive leadership, the Vice President of Clinical Services provides oversight of all clinical operations, behavioral health services, case management programs, and clinical quality initiatives.

The Vice President ensures that services are delivered safely, ethically, and effectively while supporting the organization's mission of empowering youth and young adults through comprehensive care and support.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for all clinical and behavioral health services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and licensing requirements.
  • Supervise clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Establish quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical outcomes.
  • Develop new clinical programs that support the needs of youth and young adults.
  • Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, schools, and government agencies.
  • Support grant development and program evaluation.
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and prepare reports for executive leadership.
  • Promote trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care.
  • Serve as the organization's senior clinical advisor.

Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressive clinical leadership or healthcare management experience.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement, compliance, and clinical operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred

  • Active clinical licensure (such as LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LPC, PsyD, PhD, RN, NP, or equivalent), where applicable.
  • Experience in nonprofit, community health, behavioral health, youth services, or healthcare administration.
  • Experience developing and scaling clinical programs.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards, quality management, and grant-funded services.

Compensation

During the organization's startup phase, this position requires approximately 3–10 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

As organizational growth and funding milestones are achieved, this role is expected to transition into a full-time executive leadership position with an anticipated salary of $130,000–$145,000 annually, based on qualifications, experience, organizational needs, and Board approval.
