Position Overview
The Lot Supervisor oversees the daily management, safety, and efficiency of the company’s vehicle lot and support staff. This role ensures that all vehicles are properly maintained, secured, and ready for operation each day. The Lot Supervisor issues keys and assigns vehicles, drivers, and monitors based on a daily schedule. Coordinates with the Operations Department to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant transportation facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all Lot Attendants and ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures
- Coordinate vehicle movement, staging, fueling, and cleaning operations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections for cleanliness, safety compliance, and readiness
- Oversee key control, and company-controlled inventory
- Maintain records of vehicle maintenance, inspection reports, and lot activity logs
- Ensure lot cleanliness, security, and proper signage at all times
- Communicate directly with HR and Operations regarding vehicle or staff issues
- Assist with onboarding and training of new lot staff and drivers
- Enforce no-idling, no-smoking, and restricted-access policies in the lot area
- Lead by example – demonstrating punctuality, integrity, and proactive problem-solving
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory and lead experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Lot Supervisor, Fleet Coordinator, or Transportation Lead
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection, maintenance scheduling, and compliance documentation
- Knowledge of DDS or state transportation regulations preferred
- Proficiency with basic reporting and tracking systems (Excel, or other fleet management tools.
